POST & COURIER: Columbia’s Grand Motel to become affordable housing community
The United Way and Homeless No More are planning to transform an old motel and apartment complex on Two Notch Road into an affordable housing development.
The $9 million project, funded through donations, will rehab the existing apartments and motel, as well as construct a new building for the community center, according to a news release.
